About this role
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company’s full document and financial cycle and review all daily accounting entries recorded by the work team.
- Monitor inventory movement in coordination with warehouses and branches, oversee periodic and annual stocktaking, and settle any inventory count discrepancies.
- Calculate the cost of goods sold and the import, shipping, and customs costs for shipments from international and local suppliers.
- Reconcile the daily revenues of retail branches and online store sales, and settle credit card and payment gateway transactions.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial closings and issue the main financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
- Participate in preparing annual budgets, monitor variances between targets and actual results, and submit reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Professional certifications are preferred.
- Have at least 5 to 7 years of practical accounting experience.
- Have strong experience working with accounting software systems, enterprise resource planning systems, and point-of-sale software.
- Demonstrate strong financial analysis skills.
